dc.description.abstract The first „kalandos" partnerships were founded in the middle of the 12-th century in some of European countries like Germany, Hungary etc. At the end of the 16-th century the members of these partnerships could be laymen who were used to obtain secret political purposes. Therefore the venturesome were suppressed in the 17-th century and we can find very sparse signs about them. The results of the last year's research work shows that in one of Transylvania's oldest town - in Zilah (Zillenmark) - the town's venturesome protocollumus came to light in fractions. The town had 4 „kalandos" in each of his 4 main street: Kraszna, Tyúkól, Alszeg and Székely-Nagy streets, together with the belonging side streets. Their forming can be put at the end of the 16-th, beginning of the 17-th century, in spite of the fact that the oldest remained protocollum volume is from the year of 1775 in which we can find a lot of references to the old articulus (statutes) and stock lists. The „kalandosok" of Zilah, as an association of common interests, the agriculture, an organizer of the animal keeping, the territory maintain - order of the district, the accompleshment of the orders of the town council, the connection with the Church, were assumed by them. In the same time they maintained the right of calling to account for themselves. The „kalandosok", according to their economic possibilities, contributed with considerable amount to the construct of the civic buildings (1834 - town hall, 1890-1892 - country hall) to the school establishments and functioning, to the maintenance of Church buildings. The „kalandosok" of Zilah embraced the whole territory of the town. Their main role, from the point of view of their functions, in correlation with the country laws werre less community organizations with certain decision right, nowadays the so-called autonomy-s. hu_HU
